Stainless Steel & Material Quality

Many of our reusable instruments are manufactured from AISI 420 stainless steel, selected for its suitability for precision instruments and its ability to achieve the hardness required for cutting and working edges.

Depending on the product, instruments may be supplied in a traditional stainless steel finish or with specialist surface finishes and coatings.

Precision & Workmanship

Small differences in alignment, joint movement and finishing can have a significant effect on how an instrument performs.

Nail Nippers & Cutting Instruments

Particular attention is given to the cutting performance of our professional nail nippers and other cutting instruments.

Nipper blades are checked for alignment, sharpness and smooth cutting action, while joints and springs are inspected to help ensure the instrument opens and closes correctly.

Our nipper range includes concave, straight blade, ingrown and cantilever patterns in a variety of sizes and finishes.

Reusable & Autoclavable Instruments

Reusable instruments identified as autoclavable are designed to withstand appropriate professional cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation procedures when used and maintained correctly.

Correct instrument care remains essential. Instruments should be thoroughly cleaned and dried, and moving joints should be lubricated where appropriate to help maintain smooth operation and prolong service life.

Finishing & Passivation

Where applicable, stainless steel instruments undergo appropriate finishing and passivation processes to support surface cleanliness and corrosion resistance.

Titanium-coated and other specialist finishes are applied to selected products to provide an alternative appearance while retaining the underlying stainless steel construction.

Inspection Before Supply

Quality control does not end with manufacturing. Instruments are inspected for overall condition and functionality before being approved for supply.
